    Thanks for your input. I know it a long range site but many members seem to be and hunt on the East cost. Figured they may have a rifle or two set up for hunting tree stands or smaller fields.

    How do you like the reticle? One of the reasons I went with the leupold was the firedot. There just something about a duplex reticle on a deer rifle that I like. Especially for NE hunting where shots are short.

    Just an update. Got the Leupold vx5. Only have gotten to hold it and look threw the scope at full daylight. Looks really nice and can't wait to get it mounted and to the range.
