New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
There is a very small dot at every two mil and at ten mil there is a single dot left and right of center and there will also be two dots left and right of center at 20 mil. The H37 is the same way.
I have never seen an H58 or H59 without these with the exception of the non-illuminated H58 in...
Actually, the illuminated dots are laid out in two mil increments on the 6:00 stadia and the illumination sounds completely normal. All mine are at the same level of brightness you described.
Translated from German
L = Leicht = Illumination or light
P = Parallaxe = parallax
"Lit" is a past tense and past participle of the word "light".
I would only use that term after your battery has expired or the illumination has been deactivated.
Although Optronika is down the road just a few kilometers from our main facility in Germany I can assure you that we are not making their scopes.
I know a couple of the people there and they are more than capable of assembling their own product.
Please contact me ASAP and we'll get this issue resolved, call or shoot me a pm.
Would the reticle happen to be an H59 or TReMoR2? The small dots do illuminate but are hard to pick up due to their size but should be visible in conditions where you would normally need it.
Correction, the main stadia is .055 mil. So it's 5.5 mm and not 5 mm as stated above.
Dots are .04 mil, lower horizontal stadia for wind holds are .039 mil. The vertical hash marks on those lines are .028 mil and the smaller .2 mil marks measure .014 mil.
Hope this helps.
FWIW, the Klein reticle also has the full illumination just as the H2CMR.
On topic, I've looked through quite a few of each and my vote also goes to the H2CMR and own three of them.
It's ease of use for both wind holds and ranging in a clear, uncluttered design is unmatched.
Also, the...
Loosen the two set screws and press slightly on the top of the knob to seat it while you retighten the set screws and see if this doesn't remedy the situation.
If not, let me know.
I have not heard of any intentions of it happening in the 3-12x50. Personally, I would like to see it in the 4-16 but I'm not holding my breathe on that one either.
Re: Price check on a Schmidt PMII please
Considering a new one will run you about $3850 retail with a HORUS I'd say that is more than fair, especially if it is in like new condition.
Standard knobs or locking MTC?
Re: S&B 3-20 question
I have not received a pm from you yet. One is in your box now.
