New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
CTM1
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge of this scope!
Almost seems worth hanging on to just for the historical and coolness factor.
I might add in this day and age of garbage NVDs all over the place this unit has a impressive NV tube with nearly zero blems even by todays standards.
I found this older scope called an Aurora day/night scope. I have no experience with them and only thing I know about these are Ive seem them mounted on foreign weapons years ago.
Not very much info on these things.
Anybody have any experience or knowledge with these units?
The eyepeice comes...
I spoke with a person recently who claims the ATAK-C supports the ECOTI and they run that system.
Im trying get confirmation on this or visit this entity to see for myself..I will give you an update after I confirm this.
Im not defending or putting down anyones product but sometimes I think when stacking tolerances as scope tube dimensions vary from companies or even batches a 6061 mount may be preferable as opposed to 7075 due to the formers less brittleness and elasticity.
I have no experience with this product but saw it somewhere. Maybe someone here has experience with it.

And you know this how Terry?
You have done 810G/H environmental test on ZCOs or even taken a S&B or ZCO apart for inspection to determine mechanical and design "robustness" ?
Please expound on on your professional data and not a Dodge is tougher than Ford blanket statement.
Ask your rep if the optic in question is rated for 1200Gs..thats the requirement for SCAR 17
Many optics have to be individually certified at that G rating and retested before it goes to the customers.
Is it a home built MK12 or actual factory clone..And if its a home built please give the specs of the gas block and buffer tube..Rifle or carbine buffer tube and what buffer weight.
Thats some really good first hand information and you answered the other question regarding the ax chassis vs the RACs chassis on the CSR.
Did you notice any spin drift worth writing home about with these 1-8 barreled rifles?
I appreciate you sharing your experience.
Actually it is LE agency. This agency that has a history of controversy with some of their snipers.
He wasnt exaggerating the issues and I ran into accuracy and other issues testing a 1-8 gas gun for a govt tender.
Read some of his other post and its not hard to figure out for who.
