New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
But I also think where the luna really "shines" is long distance illumination. Modlight would be for something more in close. So depends on how you plan to use it.
From my understanding, even though the luna will get pointer narrow, it isn't really reliable to hold zero. So you'd probably want a separate pointer. Modlite would basically be a wide throw illuminator, so I'd think it would be a bit redundant with the luna.
I've thought quite a bit about this... the honest truth is that until we both have gear to go out together, I don't know how in to it she'll be. I do know she won't be into hunting, but I know she'll love chasing cats around the neighborhood and looking at animals in the woods. She does love...
I wonder how the phenom and the mh25 compare as far as image quality goes... I believe the phenom uses the same sensor, doesn't it? I do like how small the mh25 is...

I was considering getting a thermal scanner to look around with when the coti gets a thermal hit.
I had considered a HMT with a 14, but at the moment...

The old coti and the ecoti use a different connector, right?
I feel like this is one of those situations where a 3d printer could be really helpful.
Has anyone had any success making their own connectors, or sourcing connectors?
Or does...
This about sums it up. Honestly, I think my wife would love a dual thermal setup. She's all about looking for critters. I wish there was a NV equivalent to the coti that could attach to a thermal to allow you to see lasers... that would probably be best of both worlds...
I've been debating getting into night vision for a while, but I've really been dragging my feet. I know that at some point I will need to buy 2 sets, since the wife has made it quite clear that she would also like a set if I get one. We are realistic, though, that I won't be getting both sets at...
