My idea was to shoot 3 or 5 shots for each charge weight leading up to a max charge, then find the cumulative SD of three successive charge weights. Something like this 45.0-46.0gr total test spread, 3 or 5 shots each 0.1 grain increment SD of 45.0, 45.1, 45.2 SD of 45.1, 45.2, 45.3...

Rifle Scopes Is the S&B PMII 5-25 still relevant in today's market given all of the options out there?

I timed out on the vudoo stage at the peacemaker rimfire match dialing, then I watched you clean it with holds. I like to dial, but it definitely opened my eyes to being flexible when looking at different stages, especially with time restraints.

Is a tikka action Long/strong enough for 338 lapua

I think the tikka long action might be a little limited in OAL for the 300 PRC based on the mags I’ve seen and OAL specs I’ve seen for that round.

Is a tikka action Long/strong enough for 338 lapua

Lapua size bolt face doesn’t exist for a tikka that I’m aware of. Also OAL would probably be an issue.

Rifle Scopes Nightforce SHV 4-14 F1 field of view

Does anyone else think the 4-14 SHV has a slight “toilet paper tube” feeling when looking through it? Or is it just me? My ATACR 4-16 seems to have a much “fuller” picture.

Rifle Scopes Stripped a Spuhr Mount Screw During Install

Are you sure you were using the correct size torx bit? I think it’s a t20. I have heard people complaining about stripping the heads because it seems like you’re using the correct size, but it’s not.

    Chassis for duty use.

I don’t have a ton of chassis experience, but the MPA is the only one I’ve tried so far that didn’t feel like an AR15. The vertical grip with the thumb cut out seemed well thought out and comfortable if you like shooting thumb up. Also the comp chassis comes with the night vision rail which is...

    223 trainier advice

Probably best off getting an action and spinning on a faster twist 223 barrel. Most of the factory guns are 1:9 at the fastest. CDNN is blowing out 5.56 ruger precision rifles, so that’s another option.

Does the crack spread open when you put pressure on it? It almost looks like a seam where the camo was applied.

Have you given the buttstock a few smacks to see if the rifle will drop the firing pin with the trigger adjusted that low?
