I’m wanting to move into a sturdier tripod and I’m looking for suggestions. I think I’m wanting an Anvil 30 head unless a leveling base is just that much better, and I’m looking at the Two Vets price range of legs ($400-$650). I’m considering the Recon V2. Just making sure I’m not overlooking...

Around the 6-6.5# range. It’s getting a suppressor and 2.5#+ thermal on top so that adds a fair amount of weight to the rig which is my reason for trying to keep the weight down.
Thanks Rob, I’ve owned a couple SRS’s. I always said I’d never be without one, but ended up selling my last one. I’ll get another some day. It’s just a touch heavy for what I’m needing though.
The QD stud is only on the pictured side. As far as weight, I’ll post a weight in the morning and that may answer your question. TBH I didn’t know there was a heavy and standard, it was acquired in a trade.
