New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Just need the cable to be made. Any LRF with IBEAM rev B would work with the utc. "Trac ir" is a bae integration. DRS has a option on their thermals for turning on lrf/Ibeam and it works the same. DRS inod and flir hiss have integrations too.
We have 8 mrfs coming in mid spring hopefully. Far better LRF module than the Raptar S. It has I BEAM rev b so should interface with trac-ir BAE systems, INOD, DRS thermals, and anything else that speaks " I BEAM" etc. It's about midway performance wise between the L3H SPEAR and the Raptar S...
As noted above... ( for long wave thermal)smaller pixel pitch allows for reducing focal length to keep same fov specs...in turn reducing germanium cost and unit size. When you get into the new 1280 HD sensors you're going to see the need for the 10 micron stuff a bit more to keep size down at...

Had lunch with the Steiner guys a few weeks back. Played with a few of their new models including the S35 which is the stand alone scope version of their 3 35mm Thermal optics being launched currently. The handheld mono H35 was their first release and has proven to be a nice albeit large/bulky...
