    Who makes a Model 70 type/clone action besides Winchester these days. I had a Montana 1999 I wanted to build on but it was a mess and just sold it. Still looking for a Mauser type side extractor, control round feed short action. Google returns almost nothing.

    I wanted to shoot that bullet too. I never got it to shoot very good. I switched over to the 160 Sierra HPBT NOW keep in mind it’s a hunting bullet and it’s not got a real high G7 but that’s of a buck will shoot with 7977 or reloader 22.

    Rem 600 Mechanic

    The one I want to build on is a 308 Winchester and they are a dime a dozen it’s already been modified before I got it no loss on it. Now the 6 mm Remington is all original down to the plastic floor plate it’s like 95% condition. I wouldn’t do anything to it it’s a heirloom.

    I have 6 of those Ridgelines, ( 243Win, 7mm-08, 280AI x2 6.5CM and 28 Nosler) and every one of em max out at mid book loads. You will NEVER get boox max loads. You will pop primers and ruin brass, have sticky bolts etc. at anything over mid book loads. Check your speed it will be there. Drove me...

    I have found IMR-8133 and a 175 ELDx to be VERY accurate and faster than I expected out of a 30" bbl 280AI. I'm new to the cartridge and I am really liking it with said combination. IMR-7977 seems to be good as well abut still working on that one. I just traded for a Christensen like the one...

    I don't have any parts for you. I m fairly sure the 700 parts will not work. I do like the model 600 a lot! I have 3 of them and all of them shoot <.5MOA. One in 6mm Rem that got new when I was a kid that will one hole with hand loads out to 200 yds. Its a shame nobody will work on em anymore...

    I’d like a 150/160 grain load I THINK. I’ve got a 338 pussycat (338 Federal) with some 210s that’s fairly mean out to 200. I shoot it for big stuff. I’d like a long range deer rig even though I’ll probably never use it for a long range.

    Well it’s not that I’ll ever shoot one that far but it would be nice to know that Gun has enough energy out that far probably be more like 500 tops but it’s like having 1000 hp in your car you know you don’t need that much but it’s nice to say yeah I have it.

    Did some trading with a friend for a Christensen Ridgeline in 280 AI. He said it likes RL26 and 140s. I’ve some IMR-7977 and some 175s I hope will work for a 1000yd deer gun. We shall see. Anybody shooting one of these with a heavy bullet well?

    I have that app. its great for measuring group size and calculation drop at given ranges but I still want to know how much one click on the knobs are. It has been answered many times above
