New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I have dealt with Vortex customer service before and they are absolutely second to none. They have the best reputation in the business as far as I’m concerned.
My shooting buddy (diesel mechanic) torqued the shit out of his scope rings and we figured out the problem. He sent it in to Vortex for...
Is the deal on the A&d120i listed above something I need to jump on even though I have used my CM for years?
Don’t suppose there’s a way to let the CM throw and trickle charges and let the A&D do the weighing is there?
THIS
I strap the V3 on during the first phases of load development just to get a ballpark. Too many times I have tweaked a load that shot lights out just because I didn’t like the chrono numbers. It’s insanity.
Make sure your target angle (look angle) is correct. I have screwed with mine before and forgotten to change it.

I just loaded some 178ELDM last night with the Varget dropped to 42.4gr. I’ll see what that does...
To answer a few questions: this brass (all Lapua) has only been fired in this rifle. I have full length sized the brass and even tried screwing it down further in the press to get further down the case, but the shoulders were bumped way too far. Im thinking that my chamber may have been cut...
Thank you guys for the replies. Im thinking that my die is not sizing my brass all the way down the case. Just watched the videos and I haven't measured my brass yet, but I nearly guarantee this is my problem. I have noticed that the cases that are hard to extract are coming out with score...
I have had some brass lately get really hard to extract. I have been reloading for nearly ten years and have never had this problem before. The live round chambers easily, the bolt lifts easily, but on some cases Im having to set the rifle on its butt and bang the bolt open with my rear bag...
