    That is the best looking AICS compatible bottom metal I've seen for the T3. The most common ones don't follow the contour of the trigger at all and to me, it looks tacky. Which bottom metal is that?

    I don't know if they are imported into the US but there is already the Tikka T3x Varmint in .223 with the same barrel twist. The mags only hold six rounds, but unless it's a match gun - who cares? I have a CTR and I love it, but the regular bottom fittings and trigger guard look a lot better...

    I once grabbed the wrong box of ammo at the range and loaded up my M1a with 8 mm Mauser commercial FMJ... The shoulder of the case prevented it from chambering.

    But is the original stock really that bad? What features do you get if you upgrade to the Bravo? The original stock can be upgraded with adjustable cheek riser and it has a nice grip for your firing hand. Why go for Bravo chassi? What feature do you need? I'm getting a CTR in a couple of weeks...

    It might not be the best option for a custom build but the Sako 85 rifles in .223 have a nice small receiver and feeds from double stack, six shot magazines. I wouldn't buy one for the action alone, but if you like any of the stocks they come in then it might be an option if you want to have...

    My guess is that Tikka or their owners do not want to lower the price of TRG 22 mags, so they had to change the CTR magazines to something that did not fit the TRG. Just speculation, of course.

    The TRG 22 mags fit in the T3 CTR magazine well, but CTR mags do not fit in the TRG22. The TAC A1 has the CTR magwell. The Tikka Tac uses the standard Tikka T3 plastic single stack magazines. There are three and five round magazines.

    The I have felt this as well, when I have handled the Berserk stock. I've never shot one of the laminate GRS stocks, but they look very nice (but not very tacticool) and I'm sure they are very stiff and rigid.
