New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
The Mil adjustments are non-HS at 5 Mils per revolution.
The MOA adjustments are HS at 20 minutes per revolution.
We could not fit 10 Mils per revolution on the smaller diameter dials. 8 was max so we chose to stick with 5.
Looking to get a turret press. Curious as to which you guys would recommend.
The RCBS and Redding T7 both look nice but there is also a $70 price difference.
My RockChucker has been good to me so I was leaning toward the RCBS.
If the AR10 has a continuous rail, you will need a minimum height of 1.375" to clear the 56mm objective. I prefer 1.5".
Due to the straight line stock design of the AR platform, a lower mounting height is detrimental.
Check out the Crosstac rear bag. It is compact enough to fit in a cargo pocket and the shape is perfect. It has a protected zipper in order to add or remove fill to your liking.

Tim,
If parallax could be eliminated with a constant, we would mark them. But atmospherics alter parallax correction greatly. A 20 degree swing in temperature could alter parallax correction by as much as 400 yards. We set parallax in our temp controlled factory at 70 degrees and 40% humidity...
The subtensions in your scope are not incorrect. It would never have passed QC if so. The QC label that it wears ensures that it met our stringent quality standards prior to leaving our factory in Idaho.
How did you verify the predicted 3.3moa of drop?
My preferred load for a 308 with up to 1:11.25 twist is the 190 SMK over 48.5gr. of RL17
That is loaded in to FC dated Mil brass with a 10" drop tube as it fills up the case and the load is compressed.
Winchester will allow a little more capacity. I load to 2.84" oal and use 210M primers.

What you were told is simply not true. We provide very accurate lead times to our dealers. We are building MOAR and MIL-R ATACR's everyday but there are different lead times for delivery based on reticle popularity - The MOAR being several weeks longer.
In second focal plane scopes, the MOA...
This isn't the powerpoint, but the following link will take you to an instruction manual for the HDMR and starting on page 14, it gives basic instruction of the T2.

Only the Compact MIL-SPEC 1-4 and 2.5-10's have NVD compatible illumination settings. The full size MIL-SPEC scopes do not.
The new for 2013 Compact NXS's also have NVD compatible illumination settings.
Rob.....alot has changed since then. Mostly the past 18-20 months.
It may have fallen on deaf ears then, not now. We just ask that you be patient if possible. We cannot effect change overnight. We focus heavily on quality and perfecting designs takes time.
All....we read these boards and use them to gather intel. Change is not effected overnight. But we are hearing what the end users want. Things are in the works. Good things. Phone calls and emails in regards will only bog us down and absorb resources.
Currently there are no BEASTS outside of NF; but very soon. I've got mine that I have been comparing against others, and its a beautiful scope. I've used mine side by side next to a 5-25 and 12-50 PMII as well as other brands. I am extremely curious to hear the feedback once they start...
The only holdup is that the ATACR is selling at an unpredicted rate. The MOAR being the more popular reticle choice. There are some dealers that order well in advance to keep a steady supply in inventory to lessen the burden of waiting to the customer. All NF scopes are built to order and there...
