    243 winchester

Experience with 243ai say 1 mile and it starts dying rapidly, but you can effectively put multiple rounds on target. As stated by @secondofangle2 spotting shots is your single biggest pain. Ive got a video of me shooting 1000m and a 243ai if you want me to post it.

If you could learn the truth about any single event in history

No one. Its a secret unspoken hand shake. Like going to a friends house and not pissing in their kitchen sink. Did they expicitly say "dont piss in my sink, use the toilet" ? Its an unwritten / unspoken rule between friends. Much like basketball players who can "read a play". You KNOW you...

KRG Whiskey-3: Am I just too perfectionist?

These parts are extrusions. They are a shaped tube. In raw form (4m long pieces) they are called billets. So machined parts from billets... is correct. However the backbone is mostly shaped. All it gets is a few drill holes, tapped, and a magazine cutout. Oh, and recoil lug slot. It...

KRG Whiskey-3: Am I just too perfectionist?

Hahahah.. go be poor somewhere else. I love it. Im gonna add.... KRG use extruded rail, not machined billet. (I could be wrong.. doubt it.. fight me). Extrusion of low quality has twist in it. Also extrusion which is perfectly straight will warp or stress relieve as soon as you cut or...

The "a chassis should not need to be bedded" myth........

@VH96 age old "how does it shoot" ?? If you personally can not shoot 10 shots in 1moa, im not sure bedding will help. Like driving a car. Yes you may have 20,000hrs on road driving experience. It doesnt make you a F1 driver. Its thr wrong type of experience. Getting a super accurate build...

    Polishing nitrided action

Polishing should be done prior. Nitriding (depending on the type, theres lots) is a micron thin layer which chemically alters the top layer, to a certain depth. Polishing too much will remove this layer. Natural wear over time also does this. It is causing you hang ups or issues, or do you...

2403-yard shot on a can of red bull, sounds like a load of bull.

My personal experience with coriolis was roughly 1" @ 1000m. Shoot the target, pattern a group, and then go to the target, and shoot to where you just were. Basically shoot east to west, then west to east.. or north / south.. whatever. It moved the group about 1" lower. Was it just me ...

PRS Talk New MK TMB Muzzle brake

As someone who is involved with manuf, and makes parts for a living... If we miss a deadline on order, and there is a contract in place, there is a penalty. Each day is either a percentage, or a flat rate. Say a part is $100, and theres 100 parts on order to be delivered in 100 days.. if i...

    Bedding question

Extra marinetex, no issue. 24hrs, just to be safe. Yes you can pull it faster, just allow full cure. Dont rush it. As long as you down have baseball type holes, you should be mostly OK.

Gunsmithing Gunsmith said this about installing a Tikka prefit

I personally take my time, talk gently, act calm, be generally smooth when im clamping it in the vice and softly inserting the action bar, and at the last second, hurl abuse loudly and frown harshly at it. Its the shock technique method, just approach it from a different angle.
