    Larue PredatOBR 5.56

I've entertained this idea also. How much money would you save if you built a comparable rifle to a larue, daniel defense, or noveske?

    Larue PredatOBR 5.56

Man I was all hyped up to get a noveske a while back but talked my self out of it. I saw some reviews and talked to some folks that said their quality went down hill. I think something about the owner passing away and sons taking over.

    Larue PredatOBR 5.56

    The website reviews were......one sided

    Larue PredatOBR 5.56

Yeah I kinda got skeptical when they were all five star reviews. I'm sure they make a good product, just kinda one sided.

    Larue PredatOBR 5.56

Thanks fellas, what about daniel defense? Are they typically as accurate as larue? Out of the box?

    FGMM 308win brass

Dumb question, and honestly just curious, why would the cases be progressively manufactured heavier, or obviously be made with more material?

    Larue PredatOBR 5.56

The reviews on their site were understandably one sided.

    Larue PredatOBR 5.56

Thx bro, accuracy is my biggest concern. I don't mind paying the extra $, if it performs well. Especially with the heavier 5.56 projectiles.

    Larue PredatOBR 5.56

Folks, what are yalls thoughts and experience with Larue 5.56? Specifically the PredatOBR. Looking for a mid weight AR for hunting/medium range plinking. Are they worth the money and are they real world accurate the way their website suggests?

    FGMM 308win brass

So I've been saving all my spent cases for the last couple years from shooting recently purchased (within the last couple years) FGMM with the intent to reload. Do you have any advice or lessons learned you would pass on about reloading FGMM brass?

    Newb question

Another random thought on this subject. I'm shooting my Remy AAC-SD suppressed. Should I do my load development with or without the suppressor? I've heard bullets can become unstable and tumble when doing load development. I'd hate to wreck a $1k suppressor.

    Newb question

I'll be honest. I'm going to have re-read all this and process through some of what y'all have offered. The picture is becoming somewhat clearer. Yes sir, I'm probably over thinking the tip deformation on the SGK. Thanks for suggesting some good equipment. I think I will piece a kit...

Rifle Scopes talk me out of a $280 scope for $2800 rifle

The sub $300.00 nikons are hard to beat in my opinion. I have had many over the years and have always had good luck with them.

    Newb question

Yes sir, I have kept all of my fired cases segregated between the two rifles for reloading later. Most all is FGMM spent cases. Thanks for the input on the separate dies.

    Newb question

So The tikka long action conversion, (i'm asking here) so you convert it to a long action to accommodate a longer bolt travel? This will allow the bolt to travel rearward far enough to pick up the longer COAL rounds? What do you do about the magazine limitation? Use magnum length mags with...
