    L3i New "Stinger" Barreled action

I'm looking forward to Lowlight's review of this!!! I wish more manufacturers would start a launch with a SME comparing among known knowns, in this case Bergara, Vudoo, RimX. But so exciting to see more competition here. Would also love to see a Tikka T1X competitor, i.e. build it around T3x...

    L3i New "Stinger" Barreled action

I bought one. It was 90% there, but controlled round feed, which didn't really work and the round needed to travel ~1.5 inches, the ejector was too small and punched a hole in the rim (thus failing to extract), etc, etc. I still have it. I'm not going to lie, having a Rem700 feed from Glock...

    L3i New "Stinger" Barreled action

My understanding is that the B14R is a carbon sleeve, not an epoxied carbon wrap? And carbon seems like a gimmick in a .22 where rigidity and/or heat characteristics don't seem like a concern. If you think you need carbon, you are probably looking at Proof/Bartlein and the associated $500+ jump...

Sporter profile plus threaded. You'll sell plenty of those as well.

    Shot show 2024

Pretty crazy that all Shotshow gets us is some new stocks and a new, expensive, press. Oh, at new PSA guns. Is PSA the only place trying to make new stuff?

    New Labradar LX

I hope these sell well for LabRadar. But knowing their app is likely to be garbage forever... And the battery life will probably be terrible... And I know own a Garmin...

    Shot show 2024

Anyone make it to Voodoo? They had been teasing some other calibers recently, wonder if they are ready.

    No love for Uintah Precision?

I dropped $1000 on a Bolt 9mm THAT NEVER FED PROPERLY FROM MAGAZINES. It was really close to working, but the ejector was too small, and controlled feed didn't work well. So I get it, this hobby is sometimes just flushing cash down the drain. I don't understand with the price of ammo steadily...

    New .223 rifle

Tikka over Ruger American. I had the Ranch, wanted to love it, it was just such a POS compared to a Tikka. Maybe the Gen 2 adds the $100 in polishing it needs to be a better firearm, but I don't know that I'll ever buy another one.

    No love for Uintah Precision?

I think they haven't yet embraced some of the more niche market segments that they are perfect for - 300 Blk, 8.6 Blk, etc, etc. I think for most shooters, bolt gun with AR Ergos sounds fun, until you realize that you own 5+ ARs, and do you really want to drop 1k for a .75 MOA upper that has...

    KRG Echo Chassis

This isn't a flop, we're just not their target market. It is, hopefully, a bulletproof hunting stock for a platform they had neglected up until now. Maybe we'll see this inletted for the Sako S20, or S75/86/90? Or Howa short actions, etc, etc. I'd love to see KRG just dominate the rest of the...

    TAC OPS / KMW Collaboration

This is definitely a "go be poor somewhere else" thread. I can't imagine every buying a rifle this nice...

    Shot show 2024

All I want is a viable lever or bolt gun in 9mm. I'm already basically paying 9mm prices for match .22 and I'd love to have a trainer for 200+ yards.

Best subsonic round out to 200 yards

Would be curious on your thoughts if you end up playing with 8.6 BLK, where you don't need Trailboss for things to work right.

What does 6.5 do over 7.62?

Tumbling is a byproduct of an especially long bullet design. It can break apart due to impact, become unstable in tissue and tumble, or ice pick its way though. It isn't a repeatable or reliable form of terminal wounding. Doesn't make it a myth. Once I had about 10k rounds on my 5.45 AR...

Xero at Zero Degrees, a review

I got my Garmin Xero in about 10 days ago, courtesy of Strohman, and then it sat under the Christmas tree for a few days. Finally got it out today, just in time for temperatures of 1-2 degrees F, with about -5 to -10 degrees of wind chill. But, this is winter life in Alaska, what can you do. It...

Krg bravo or mdt field stock

Bravo all day every day. It is pretty crazy to me that MDT hasn't figured out a way to compete effectively with KRG at the lower price points. I am assuming they want to preserve their profit margins on their higher priced stocks, but they (MDT) really stopped being innovative 3+ years ago.

22 Creed - Why isn’t it more popular?

22-250 isn't very popular, outside of some varmint builds. I don't know why anyone thought what is basically .22-308 would be either. By the time you work up some loads and ring some steel, you might be halfway through the barrel life. That might be acceptable for people who want a gun to last a...
