    Re: USO - EREK or #3 M40??? I personally didn't care for the EREK. You can get just as much elevation per rev with the #3 and it's "easier"/more user friendly(traditional) to set up. My next ST-10 will have #3 M40 knobs but I'm the minority by the looks of it.

    For some reason I've got it in my head I want a "classic" vietnam-era "m40ish" 308 but I'd like to have a few modern updates. Would it be blasphemy to put a ai-mag dbm on such a rifle. I don't want the gun gods upset and cause me to shoot any poorer than I do already.

    Re: Is an action an action or is there a difference? I've had a few Remingtons and Savages over the past few year searching for something. I found what I was looking for in a custom action. With a factory actions I've noticed that there is bolt "wobble" and that bugged the crap out of me...
