New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
If you don't plan on getting NV then get the low mount. With the low mount and a 50mm objective any set of ~1.1" rings will work just fine.
As far as threading goes the factory barrels are metric threaded so I'd skip that and just have it threaded somewhere in 5/8-24 if you get a suppressor in...
Figured it out. There's 1/32" that's not threaded under the shoulder. I removed the first thread in the knob with a 5/16" drill bit.
It is now perfect!
I still have 8 more knobs too. The first try I didn't drill deep enough and split it with the tap...oops.
A 13/64" drill bit and 5/16-24 tap got it really close.
I'm going to grab a bottom tap and try to get it exact though.
It does seem to make the bolt lift a smidge heavier since the ball is smaller (rather shorter) than the tactical knob.
I got 10 of the 6046K15 part but they are only .5" deep so a bit shallow to screw on all the way to the Badger handle. I'm going to drill one out and see if I can get it to seat on the shoulder.
At $1.67 each though it was worth a shot. They are basically the same diameter as the AI knob.
I got a 260Rem and don't want to reset my 308Win shell holder constantly so if anyone has a 260Rem shell holder that they don't need let me know.
I do have 270WSM and 22-250 shell holders that I don't need which I would trade for as well.
Bought but never took out of the box.
It's this set:

I'll get pictures in...
I actually have an AT, TRG-22, and Bighorn TL2. I had a SRS A1 but traded it to a member for a Badger M2013 build and some cash.
So far I'm impressed with the M2013. The bolt lift is a little heavier than the AI but it's a really nice action.
ETA: When opening the action of the AI it's...
Okay, thanks!
Now to get the right bushing for my new die as I can't math apparently 😞
I also have to get the process of forming brass from .308 brass down. The Redding Trim/Form die takes it down to .295" so that's a good intermediate step.
Does anyone know offhand what I should use on a 308Win barrel? I figured 75 ft/lbs would be fine as AI is 100 ft/lbs but can't seem to find it anywhere.
I got this on a trade but I don't really need it.
The rail screws may have loctite but I'm not sure so you may have to heat them to remove them.

I have 2x8lb and 1x1lb containers of IMR 7977 that I don't need anymore. All are sealed.
I'm looking to trade for H4350 or IMR 4451 in the same quantities that I have for trade.
I'm near Grand Island.
It appears that Redding says their Trim Die is a good intermediate step from 308 Win down to 260 Rem so I'm going to try it as I found one for $33.
I'm going to have to bum it with a Lee seating die for now since the Forster Ultra Micrometer die is unavailable except direct from Forster and I'm...
I see RCBS #58121 mentioned but can't seem to locate one.
I have a 260 Rem coming and have thousands of pieces of Winchester 308 Win brass I'd like to use if possible so I'd appreciate any suggestions as to where to get a forming die.
I also need to locate a Forster Ultra Seater die for the...
