Pretty much, yes. I was hoping for the same! Looks like they coulda tucked it up under there a bit tighter. P.S. my buddy has a PTG DBM with the mag release fit into the trigger guard, similar to APA's DBM. That ain't available for Model Seven, so I took a shot on the T latch...- knockemdown

It might very well be. My 'smith has run .300Norma brass to form cases for that same wildcat, so I doubt its appreciably thicker? My (necked down) loaded rd. nk. dia. is .338-9".
