    What kestrel??

Thanks for the replies. So I'm leaning toward the 5700 with link. Right now all I have is a kindle. Will I be able to do any updates needed with it? Also would I be able to take advantage of all the kestrel can do? My wife has an iPhone but if she's not around it will still work fine as a stand...

    What kestrel??

I was wondering what kestrel would be the best for me? I don't have a smart phone and don't forsee getting one as long as I can get a flip phone. I know you can buy used one's and am fine doing that just don't want to be hamstrung not being able to get updates if I need them. I do shoot out...

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

Yeah I just called to ask them a few questions and they said they would ship me a couple to handle. You just had to pay the return shipping and insure them on the way back. Think it ran me 20 bucks or so. Well worth it cause I sure wouldn't of picked that one off the bat, but glad I did.

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

I really like it. Got it in the light fill and was worried how it would balance with that length of barrel. With the adjustable cheek it balances great. I had them send me a few to try out and didn't think I would've liked that vertical of a grip but love it. Mines on an adl and carries just...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

A few post back some of you guys were talking about cerakoting your rprs. My wife just got hers back so I figured I'd let you check it out. It was done by Bell Precision Rifles in Indiana. Its a 3 color mix of graphite black, midnight bronze and tiffany blue. She liked the distressed...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

We have ran about everything in my wife's Rpr except the new federal loaded with bergers. The favorites seem to be the prime and 140 eld-m. Atomic shot really good also but is pricier. Haven't taken the prime to 1000 yet but eld-m shot great at that distance.

    Mild steel targets

Thanks for the responses. A buddy of mine has access to some mild steel scrap plates. They are 12 inch diameter and an inch thick. Will probably weld some bolts to the backs of them to hang them off of. Kinda like the tire hanger idea, can get plenty of rubber. Local farmer punches the side...

Rifle Scopes Need advice on scope for new tikka T3x CTR in 6.5 creedmoor

I am using a Bushnell 4.5-18 Lrhs and am liking it a lot. I don't have the illumination on mine and not really sure on the street price with it. I would think it would be in your range. If your not set on the illumination you can find good deals without it. I've taken mine out to 1000 and don't...

    Mild steel targets

That is what I am wanting to make, some 1 moa targets for the different yardages. How are they suspended? Are they just hanging on chains? Thanks for the response.

    Mild steel targets

Was wondering how far out was safe using targets made of 3/8 mild steel plate. I have a few ar 500 targets but the local steel place doesn't want to order any of it. I was planning to use them past 800. The biggest gun that might be shot at it would be a 308, but mainly just a 6.5 creedmoor...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

Pell, My break was the same way. It does use a jam nut and mine looked like it could go farther but no dice. It was also way tighter than the 15 ft.lbs Ruger said it was. They just threaded the nut all the way on then torqued the hell outa the brake. I had to put mine in a barrel vice, use...
