Prime Brass

Need scope base advice for Bergara B14r build
For a B14R you will want at least 40 MOA built in in my opinion. What scope are you running. Ive got a 40 MOA on mine and I can reach 500m with my optic- PrecisionRifleGuy

Will Bergara Release a Premier version of the B14R?
My B14R shoots less than half MOA at 50m using CCI Mini Mag. I haven't tested any other ammo yet. I put it in a KRG X-Ray chassis and called it a day. They do a carbon wrapped barrel version too. I just couldn't justify the extra cost for that "premium" version. Get one. You won't be disappointed- PrecisionRifleGuy

Early morning Red Deer hunt down here in Australia. A couple of updates to the AX since the last time I posted. I now have a MHA Arca rail with an Atlas CAL ver 2 bipod and Boscabel titanium spiked feet. Absolutely love this rifle. Im hoping to get an ASR next year too.- PrecisionRifleGuy

A couple of weeks back nailed this guy at around 100m or so with the 6.5 Creedmoor barrel on. Arrived at the property and 10 seconds later the job was done. Down here in Australia deer are considered a pest animal. No tags and no bag limit. He filled the freezer- PrecisionRifleGuy

Custom Build or AI AXMC ??
Personally I own an AX308 with the factory 308 barrel and a Bartlein 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. I have owned customs in the past; however, the AI just works and works all the time. At the end of the day if you can get behind both and ATACR and a PM2 you will make your own decision Using a number of factors.
