Can't wait to see pics! And I agree with Mike, a lot of people are looking to have PE's built with nowhere to go.

    SOV PE scope repros?

Coles Distributing sells the Ukrainian reproduction PE scope, PE round receiver mount/base, and a bent bolt body for $349. I didn't follow your eBay link but I am guessing it is to the Chinese RSM reproduction scopes. The general consensus has been to stay away.

    Archangel's Nagant Stock... Any Thoughts?

Better off spending your money on accurizing, trigger tuning, and hand loads. As said above these rifles are quite capable in factory form, no reason to change a good thing. I do sell shim/barrel wrap kits for these rifles. I have a friend that is shooting 2-1/2"x 3" three shot groups at 600...

Popped my vintage rifle cherry today...

You won't be disappointed, the craftsmanship and machining put into these rifles is exceptional. Be sure to check underneath the buttplate for the "troop tag". You will be quite happy with surplus GP-11, it's non corrosive and pretty much match ammo. It is very similar to .308.

where would i look for a good mosin nagant 9130 sniper for a build?

+1 Check the forum classifieds for recent PU imports, they should be in the $600 range when they come up for sale. You may want to look at JG sales as mentioned.

Attempting 1 Mile With Mosin-Nagant Vid

Very cool vid, he will get it. I dig the down range camera and the sounds it picked up. Great shooting! These are very underestimated rifles.

Price on a 98K Russian Capture

That's too bad, for the price you could have sold that mauser for you could have bought a nice deer rifle in .308 and left history alone. Too each their own I guess.....

Price on a 98K Russian Capture

He is referring to the two bolts that have been installed to help hold the stock together. One is at the wrist, the other just behind the bolt knob relief cut. How is the bore on it? How does it shoot? Are you selling this or just curious about its value?

Why Would Anyone Want to Shoot a Vintage Sniper Rifle?

"With the current CMP VS rules there are silly and unfair standards for the Mosin Snipers insisting on original scope that have not been rebuilt, etc.. They list a PE scope but seem clueless that the PEM was also a WW2 sniper scope and is not even listed. Most PU scopes were refurbed like most...
