    How about a Tangent Theta reticle with .2 mil wind holds incorporated into the Gen2 XR.... Gen3XR?? Seems like the easiest/best path for the most gain.... but at least some other reticle option with modern ballistics in mind.

    time is worth a lot of $$$. I have run my TRG22 as .243, and .260, wanted it to be a 6.5x47 but the case is too short to be 100% reliable on ejection so went with .260... runs great! When this barrel is done, I would probably do another .260.

    in my rifle, Lapua brass...42.5 H4350 and the 140Hybrids sing ....but found I can run 48.0gr R26 with no pressure signs and good accuracy running heavier 147gr bullets- working on seating depth/fine tuning now.

    hopefully it shouldn't be a full loss- just $/time shipping a scope back for a cleaning/checkup/+ any worn parts a manufacturer wants to charge you for. That said, it would be nice to see manufacturers chime in here as some are NOT willing to do this service preventatively-only posthumously...

    I have learned to look at optics like barrels and brass, they are consumables I have minor control over. Maybe the question should be raised much more often in scope reviews " how many clicks between needing an erector/other parts/etc rebuild?"

    Berger 140VLD in 6.5x47 w/ Varget

    140 hybrids for me, 37.0gr Varget, CCI 450's, 24" barrel- shot to the same POI as 39.7gr of H4350 behind the hybrids. Graduated to this load from 37.5gr Varget/450's/130 VLD's when I finally got a few hybrids in hand. I am tracking about 2780fps+/- in JBM with the 140's. 37.3gr of Varget/140...
