It should definitely have clearance. I put the christensen arms MPR action in it and it has a side bolt release. Unfortunately i didn't take a pic with it in there before selling of the MPR barreled action. It's just as low on the left side as the right side so you can see how much clearance it...- FunkyTownScout

Q Side Chick Chassis for sale
maximum 1.2" barrel diameter from the start of the taper on the barrel per their website. This would basically give you zero clearance between barrel and handguard.- FunkyTownScout
