    I saw the $385 on eBay. Not Jones that bad for one yet. I’ve been told very good for large caliber. Also hard to find due to limit production numbers.

    What's your opinion of having a new 700 LA trued? Have it trued right off the bat or should you go through break in process and see how it operates? Not planning on shooting comp. Recreational shooting to hit stationary targets at 1,200+ yards. If you were having a 700 trued, who do you recommend.

    Does the flyer happen on empty mag? Mine's DMPS 308, but I had to go to heavy buffer and heavier spring and I still get periodic flyers on empty mag. Check your brass for unusual marks. BCG may need some work or adjustable gas block.

    Bought my first Remington 700 last weekend. Started reading posts on scope bases, bipods, etc - ran across this post. Sombitch, its on the recall list. Well, guess its a good reason to get a Timney as first mod instead of waiting 6 or 9 months.
