    I own both. The vortex is a lot for the money, good little scope and I like it a lot. That being said......spend the money and get the NF, much better glass and the fit and finish and nobs are so much nicer. If your on a budget then vortex.

    I have no experience with Dewey or Tipton or anything else. I do won a Montana X-Treme and I love it. The handle on it is supper nice, very well made. All made in the USA right in good old "Mantana". I love mine.

    Check your buffer spring as well. Make sure it is a "TRUE" milspec.........I had an issue and it was the BCM buffer spring I was running.
