Thinking about jumping in to the deep end

This would be high on my list for that money. BlackOps Precision » Archive » BlackOps Precision Model 605 Rimfire

    Anschutz MPR inbound.

Personally I like the longer barrel, it's a redeeming factor for me. No supressors in MN currently, not holding my breath. I like the longer sight radius for the aperture sights. I will have a set of those for his gun. I ordered up two of the five round Savage mags from Brownells, they work...

    Anschutz MPR inbound.

The trigger feels great, but as I said, it takes some getting used to. I may actually raise it a bit after some use. I settled on the MPR because I liked the fit and design of the stock, as well as the longer, heavier barrel no this model. I have not shot a 54 actioned rifle, and I probably...

    Father's Day 513T....

Awesome project! That stock is gorgeous. What a nice surprise to find that under old finish. How's the trigger pull on your 513? I had heard at one point that the trigger may have been a weak point of the model, but I may have been misinformed.

    Anschutz MPR inbound.

I had a proper dummy round chambered. I've had fine luck using spent cases as well. This my first Annie, but it joins a host of others.

    Anschutz MPR inbound.

Made it out to the gravel pit for a first impromptu range session today. Weeds were grown up pretty high, all but negating prone shooting. I only had about an hour or so to shoot, so I set up on the roof of my car, laying against it standing and shooting with the gun supported with bags front...

    Anschutz MPR inbound.

Right, it's been a long day. They're different lots at least! I'm hoping it likes the SK. I have a fair quantity of that, and I'm low on all of the others.

    Anschutz MPR inbound.

The MPR arrived yesterday. Apart from a few dings in the stock it looks near new. The trigger breaks at around 6oz, and feels amazing. The scope and rind set up are temporary. They'll work fine until everything proper comes in. I've got 7 different types of ammo to test as soon as we...

    CZ 452 stock options/opinions?

I saw that. It seemed reasonable considering the starting cost as you said.

    CZ 452 stock options/opinions?

Cool. Looks like another nice option. I wasn't familiar with them before. Might make a nice stock for my MPR.

    CZ 452 stock options/opinions?

That Whidden is gorgeous. Did you have to send in your barreled action, or do they have the measurements for a stock inlet price?

    new rimfire stick for free

Love those. Just thoroughly cleaned one for my grandfather last week. Sweet handling little guns, I love how svelte they feel in hand.

    Anschutz MPR inbound.

One of my earliest memorable shooting experiences was shooting an ancient Anschutz target rifle at about scout camp. At 30' it would put ten rounds into a dime sized hole. Coming from a basic 10/22 at home this was a phenomenally different experience! I've wanted an Anschutz ever since, but...

    .22 build almost done!

Re: .22 build almost done! I look forward to seeing the finished product. Patriot Brown is really growing on me.

    Winchester 75

Re: Winchester 75 I have a very similar 75t I purchased a few months ago. The gun shoots very well with standard velocity CCI, so much so that I haven't bothered to try other brands. The trigger on these is adjustable, and very simple. The adjustment screw on my trigger was bottoming out...

    Bedded the CZ Scout

Re: Bedded the CZ Scout Looks like it'll do the job. Slightly off topic, but how do you like the stock? I have a 452 UL with the match sights that's begging for one!

Sidearms & Scatterguns Any CZ Owners Here? Need Opinions.

Re: Any CZ Owners Here? Need Opinions. I've been extremely happy with my SP-01 in 9mm. It's accurate, comfortable, and reliable, (7-10 ftf/fte's with S and B cheap stuff in the first 800 rds, stopped counting after that.) This gun fits in my hands better than any other I've owned or shot...

how often are you guys shooting your 22's?

Re: how often are you guys shooting your 22's? I've been making it out once a week on average for 3-500 rds spread between the CZ Kadet and my two CZ rifles. Scheduling range time with a friend has helped make it a priority. He calls me, I call him, we both shoot more.
