Okay from both memory and the batch manufacturing date this is .338 300 Grain, it designed for the AI AWM L115A3 rifle. Basically a AI AW Magnum but is over pressure, just like the US MK248Mod1 round barrel wear and ability to reload are no concern. They started with a 250 grain round but...- tk427

Circling back around. I'm now where near an expert but as I was taught, if you have an L42 or L39 (enforcer) action built for 7.62 you are okay for the range of .308 / 7.62 ammo upto 185 grain. If you have rebarreled No4 or similar .303 British action DO NOT exceed 155 grain This maybe UK...- tk427

What caliber should my new night gun be?
22-250, 22cm or good old. 243 in the 70 - 80 range There's a bunch in-between but with supply being an issue all around I'd go something sustainable, even at the raised cost- tk427

Does anyone else have a somewhat oddball firearm that may not make a lot of sense but they wouldn't give up?
Denton and Kennell 12 Bore (gauge) Side by Side Boxlock shotgun. Double trigger, non ejector, 25" barrels, fixed choke 1/4 and 1/2 choke (IC and MOD) Straight hand stock that's 2 inches short for me (fitted me initially) bone butt plate First shotgun / gun I owned, still hunt with it today...- tk427

Rifle Scopes Anyone know what Ammo this S&B 10x42 (AI) is designed for???
The L2* range of Ammunition made from the 50s was designed for the L42 rifles, even tho it remained in service through the 80s and early 90s As the original L96 started with a fixed power S&B x6 Klassic and the 10x was a mid life improvement I would suggest it matches the L40 series Ammunition...- tk427
