I really like the foretrex701. If you have/know how to use a map it’s super helpful especially with the ballistic solver in it. Take a look at it at least.
I would be surprised since I love my 701. Maybe ask the question in the ballistic silver section since AB is in there at the time. @DocUSMCRetired hopefully can answer this question.
So I run two different ammos with my 338lm. I set the zero stop at the zero for the round that shoots higher at 100 yards. I then set my zero mark for the other ammo where it lines up at 0. That way I can dial zero for any of my ammo. I use a zero off set on my applied ballistics software to...
ive used the inreach with amazing results. I also have started running the foretrex 701. Both have their strengths and i’ll Likely run both this year to test them against each other. I highly recommend both!
I would go with the kestrel lrf combo. The Kestral will be much better for accurate drops and environmentals. I have the 1600-r right now and am gonna upgrade to the 2400-r just for that little extra range. The Leica is a amazing range finder.
