    Sounds like you got it figured out now. To the other question, yards and meters is just a linear unit of measure. As long as you trued at the correct distances, either yards or meters, nothing will be off as long as your using the correct setting of your preference.

    I like the shim method if needed. Question....who has shimed a upper like an Aero M5E1 for example? How difficult was it to keep the shim in place while trying to fit extension to upper.

    I don't mess with the wind setting in the Kestrel at all. Keep it set to zero. Use only the meter to get a wind reading, practice your wind calls and wind holds

    I use both magazines. I would give the slight preference to Larue in my opinion. If you price each one out, get the better deal.
