Rifle Scopes SWFA or Bushnell ERS (not which is better)

Obviously the Bushnell is the far superior scope of these two but I'm still considering one or the other right now - honestly this is probably more about financial advice than scope advice. I'm ordering my first centerfire precision rifle this week (FN SPR in .308), looks like the wait time is...

Any father's day gun safe deals?

Anybody know of any good sales out there on safes for father's day? Looking to get an rsc and figured I'd see if there are any deals to be had this weekend. So you'll have an idea of what I'm looking for, here is the one I've been eyeing: Winchester® Gun Safe, 24 Gun Capacity - Tractor Supply...

Rifle Scopes New Bushnell XRS 4.5-30x50 34mm

I can't answer your first question, I'm curious as well to hear from those that have used both as to what the XRS offers over the LRS. As to the 2nd question, the XRS is (or is going to be) made with the H59, TReMoR2, and of course G2DMR reticles, but whether the H59 or tremor versions are in...

Help me build my first long range rifle

I just realized that the first part of my earlier post says "I'm really experienced in this area...", it was however supposed to read "I'm not really experienced in this area..." I'll go back and edit that, but I thought I'd point that out and immortalize it on the internets with this post - I...

Help me build my first long range rifle

I'm not really experienced in this area, but if you are looking at the 300 WM, have you considered the 7mm rem mag? You would likely get similar external ballistics but with less recoil (180 gr projectile vs 210-230gr). Might be worth considering unless you feel you need the bigger pills for...

    CDI Precision

I keep hearing great things about CDI. That's why they will be getting my business in the future. Glad they took good care of you; feel free to post some pics of that Savage with your new DBM.

    Rifle Scopes Premier

Wish I could afford one right now, its on the list, but I won't be getting one for a while. I can't recall a single instance where someone wasn't happy with theirs (although I'm sure someone somewhere has been disappointed)

16" barrels what are they capable of?

It's always a compromise, but I feel that 16" is the best length AR barrel for ME.

    Disappointed with "expensive" spotting scopes

I've heard from a few people that Pentax spotters are really awesome; do you know if they offer any eyepieces with mil based reticles?

Where to locate an intermediate gas tube?

Is this something you can make by cutting down a rifle length tube? Or is it one of those things where the hassle/potential for screw up is high enough that it makes it impractical?

Who all's got a "Vintage Sniper Rifle"

Some of yall have some seriously nice piles of rifles. Any of yall still use the older rifles exclusively for your long range shooting (as in only use the old mosins, 1903s etc rather than 700s, AIs)?

I've only shot a friend's Liberty can, but I can say that it was very well made and worked great.
