Re: Red Jacket Does it Agian!! Whenever someone starts the conversation with "hey, your a gun guy! did you see what they did on sons of guns last night!?" You know that you have located one of the enemy. Do not engage in conversation! You will only end up feeling dirty and less intelligent...

    Suppressors Thunder Valley Precision

Re: Thunder Valley Precision Jessie's buddy here. I am a complete supressor newbie. I have been considering a supressor for a long time and I was interested in something I could run on My 7.62 Larue obr and also on my 5.56 ar15s. I met Tom at one of the mammoth sniper challenges and have...

20 Inch Predator Pursuit Upgrades needed

Re: 20 Inch Predator Pursuit Upgrades needed I did drop one of my rra 2 stage triggers into a remington/dpms .308 ar and it was too light for that aplication. You could easily double with that trigger in that rifle. Essentially a bump fire. Not an issue if you were properly behind the rifle...

Re: 20 Inch Predator Pursuit Upgrades needed I have personnaly run several thousand rounds through several rra 2 stage triggers (including a few carbine classes) and had no problems out of them. I also have a few buddies that run them too. I also have a geissele in a larue obr and it is also...

    MAGPUL B.A.D. Levers?

Re: MAGPUL B.A.D. Levers? I love my BAD levers. Aside from waht has already been stated they make weapons manipulation from prone much easier. It allows you to drop the bolt with your trigger finger and hold it open with out having to reach around the rifle. Very nice.

    Arisaka's?

Re: Arisaka's? My arisakas arent sniper editions but shoot well. I have a 6.5 and a 7.7. I really like the irons on the 7.7. Ghost ring rear and a pyamid/triangle on the front. As an interesting aside, a friend of mine and I had an old military bolt action shoot off about a year ago where we...

PMAG 7.62 in FDE or OD...

Re: PMAG 7.62 in FDE or OD... Man those cut down mags are a nice option! Ive always been a big fan of using the grip and vert forend on my ars for "precision" shots. This would open up that possibility for my obr.

muzzle break for a 308 gas, how efficent?

Re: muzzle break for a 308 gas, how efficent? have run breaks on a lot of different rifles. I ran a JP recoil eliminator on a 300 win mag 700 remington sendero and could watch mt hits thru the scope at 200. It was the most effective brake I have ever used but it was brutally loud and...

    What would you pay??

Re: What would you pay?? Do you actually know this guy? I ask because anyone who HAS to have my rifle right now because it is "legit as f@@k" is a red flag in my book. Assuming the guy is "legit" pull the $2000 price out and if he dosnt want it offer too bad for him. You've only had 200...

    minor issue

Re: minor issue A little white lithium grease on the buffer spring kills the sproing sound and sliks things up a bit. Slip 2000 is an excelent lube that I use onmy ars. most folks recomend you run them a little wet. Just a little on all of the bearing surfaces. Clp wipes for all exterior...

What to make of this grouping with an AR-15 & FGMM

Re: What to make of this grouping with an AR-15 & FGMM I would repeat the test again to validate my results. Look for a clump of shots in the same place that you got them in this test. If they dont reapear then they may have been random. Next thing I would do is swap out the scope and mount...
