    I had a Savage LM and it loved the 285s with 91.0 H1000 in lapua brass. It took me a bit to find the load it liked best. Have since sold the rifle. I did try retumbo but never any alliant powders.

    Not sure how to measure to measure firing pin protrusion without taking the barrel back off. Primers are struck enough to where I don't see how they didn't fire. Does not appear to be a light stike on most cases but the CCIs do appear a little more inconsistent as far as depth than the Feds.
