    starting point is 1x, ran it behind a sig tango6t, and an old hennie 4-16, 6x it becomes fairly pixelated, no issues seeing and engaging yotes at 300, didnt have it on recoil record to capture the videos, fairly large field of view at 1x.

    Got to try it at 100 yards today, handwarmer behind the dot, 18inch ar, 4-16 hennie. Used a 1.535 mount, once zeroed I shot 5rd groups and removed the echo, done this 3 times, shot at 7x, higher magnification, image becomes more pixilated.

    Don't think the image quality compared to other 640's I've used is there yet, refresh rate is good, I don't notice any latency when panning, now I just got it and I've honestly have to see what setting works best for me. Short video I found, guys using it as a standalone and then as a sight.

    Educate me on SFP POI and magnifaction changes

    Zero at any magnification, the difference should be miniscule with the vortex, not enuff to worry about. Hold overs and ranging should be on max power with this scope. Zero at 10x, dial for 300 at 15x you should be spot on.

    Ya as mentioned above, what's the condition of the brass you are using, new, previously fired in something else, etc. I found the throat in my rifle fairly long, so I was taking advantage of the long action and loading the bullets longer than a typical short action 308.

    On page 19, there's a pic that mescabug put up of the old original 2 piece base 50039, I am pretty sure 59230 came next, then 61983. the countersink on the old 59230 was deeper than 61983 and used the same length screws.
