    This is why I test fire almost every rifle I build. There are a few that I build for a select few that I trust them to test fire. But if it’s for someone else I always test fire the rifle. Then they can’t come back at me and say I messed up the headspace or something.

    I usually cut the counterbore .720", usually .715" will work but just to be sure I open them up to .720" with a boring bar.

    I use a flush system already, I just don't prebore. I'm not doing this for a living just for my personal rifles. So I was just trying to start a discussion about if it's a better procedure to make my chambering process better than it already is hahha
