What are you buying for a factory 6.5?

You can order the barrel extension on the JP site or call in to your preferred barrel maker for the pattern you need. I love my JP's but I know folks have preferences. I'll always say if you can swing the JP you wont be disappointed. They always perform.

Range Report Magnetospeed V3 Which one and why?

V3 because it's easier to mount to 5 different guns when I go out to chrono. Magnetospeed makes awesome stuff and you can't go wrong. Just triple check with the rod before you torch one off into the bayonet ;)

Nemo XO Carbon vs JP LRP-07

You will always be satisfied with a JP as far as accuracy. If you go the LTC route you can go a little lighter than the LRP. They are absolutely wonderfully smooth to shoot and tuned exceptionally well.

Optics WTS Leupold 5-25 Mk5 with H59 Reticles, Bobro 20MOA 35 mm mounts

Leupold 5-25 Mk5 with H59 Reticles. Bobro 20MOA 35 mm mounts up for sale. $1850 each shipped, $1800 in person. I've used these for about 6 months of matches and they work well. I just don't shoot enough to have 4 of them. Not interested in any trades. Edited because I can't read a box label...

Best barrel length for suppressed AR-10?

With the OSS you're going to be about as close to unsuppressed as it seems you can get with a suppressor in terms of back pressure. 16" might require a heavier buffer and some gas adjustment but I would NOT go rifle length for this. It's hard enough getting a 223 rifle length gun to run without...

Any downside to a heavy buffer?

The Gas block, buffer, bolt, gas port size and location and springs are a system. The system can be tuned for more or less recoil. The system can be tuned for lower pressure as the bolt unlocks. The system can be tuned to run clean and reliable suppressed. The system can be tuned for all sorts...

    JP Arca Setup

Yep, ARCA rails are worth every penny and they hold even heavy versions of the LRP. I added the rails and the new weight kits to mine. For matches I'm a big fan of how the weights give me all kinds of extended surfaces to grip in positions.

Loading 6.5CM for A Semi Auto

I run a pair of JP LRP-07's. This load should run super without having to touch your gas block and it should also be reliable no matter how dirty it gets. Likely wont matter what carrier you have either. My favorite load: 144 Berger Hybrid 41.5 grains H4350 CCI#200 Primer Federal Brass COAL...

    6.5x47 Lapua

They have shot phenomenally well out of 3 of my rifles in 6.5 Creed. Maybe not comparable to the 6.5 x 47 but the 144's were worth every penny to upgrade. That's coming from someone that also likes the 130's.

    Suppressors Sandman vs Nomad

Weight and diameter are the big differences which come from the materials used in construction. The Sandman S is 17.7 oz and thinner where the Nomad is 14 oz (in direct thread). You can add the KeyMo adapter and the Nomad will be about the same weight, just larger diameter. The Nomad is just a...

    JP Enterprises Silent Captured Springs?

Is your weight removable? You can drive it out and go with a heavier 9mm SCS to keep the total mass the same. The Short Stroke SCS is by far the biggest upgrade I've run on my 9mm AR's.

Group Buys Aftermarket AI "Obsession" Chassis - Group Buy

This was basically what I was looking at. I wonder if Mile High would offer this as a package for those of us not so familiar with AI's as to immediately go wrenching on one.

Question on AR-15 Pistol Build - Buffer and Arm Brace Question

Just make sure you get the shortened Maxim size silent captured spring system. I could never get used to shooting the Maxims but I have some friends that love them because of how compact they get. I went with the SBA3 for my "pistols" until they became rifles after the government blessed me...

    JP Enterprises Silent Captured Springs?

Worth every penny. You go from scraping and sproing to action closing being the sound you hear. More reliability and makes suppressed shooting a totally new experience.
