Feeding problems with AI Arctic Warfare

Looks to me like a mag feed lip issue...

Suppressors ATF does not see my application pending, how long does it usually take?

Stuff from mid February has already been entered in as Pending, so you probably still have a few more weeks.

How do you store your armor?

The flip side is that I knew a guy who worked with body armor who had the chance to shoot some vests that had sat in a garage for 17 years...after being worn on duty for 5 years. Still shot to NIJ standards, even after that much heat and humidity exposure. Quality vests will last longer than...

Accuracy International AIAW vs. Sako TRG-22 - My Experience with Both

Barrels index differently from rifle to rifle. Barrels installed in the UK get fitted, and then marked later, while barrels installed in the US (and subsequent replacement barrels) are turned, finished, and marked as individual barrels (rather than specific to a certain rifle). In the long...

    Postal money order usage

<--- Over here freaking out about having just sent $2k in MOs to a Hide member... I've never been screwed over in a deal before, so I suppose I've been lucky. I did spot a "too good to be true" deal on Armslist a few weeks back. ~$3500 rifle with an S&B and accessories, being offered for...

Difference between AICS 1.0 and 1.5?

No cheekpiece would be the obvious. It might lack the bipod spigot - not sure when they began adding those to the chassis. Early AE rifles have a welded chassis, which quickly switched to pinned and pressed, so it's possible that a 1.0 AICS might show those characteristics as well (not sure...

    LE Marksman/Sniper ammunition

Contact Snipercraft and ask on that one. Black Hills and Hornady both offer several popular choices, as does Speer.

    Accuracy International 22LR Trainer?

Looks like we might have a neat little replica AI AW available here stateside shortly: Legacy Sports - SPA Straight Pull Action Assuming the trigger is vaguely acceptable, and the quality is sufficient, this might make for a cool little short-range training tool for those who shoot AIs...

    Suppressors Accuracy International Suppressors

Can't get any AI suppressors (moderators) in the US unless you're .mil/LE or if you're a SOT. And even if you did, I doubt AI would sell it directly to you...which means trying to find one from the used market in Europe somewhere. Ain't happening, don't bother trying, move on...

Suppressors Examiner forgot to put stamp on form

Seen this sort of shit happen before. No clue where the examiners are coming up with the "new" info...if it wasn't labeled as such on the Form 3 from the manufacturer, how the hell have they decided it's "actually" a different model?

300 vs 338 and the TRG

You might want to get lower rings for that scope...it's sitting ridiculously high off of the receiver considering the objective size.

AW vs TRG - first top tier rifle advice

AI = Apathy International? Take a look at these new stocksides.

This may be hard to believe, but when you cut into that form of plastic, the edges naturally look rough. Normally no one cares because there's a metal block covering up those edges. When placed into a chassis that lacks the metal block, it becomes prominently visible. AI uses a single mould...

    Sako Trg 2013 upgrades

The price jump is a bit hefty, though... IIRC it's a good $500 jump from the 2012 models to the 2013, and at $3875 for a base model TRG-42 without any upgrades or accessories, it starts to get pretty obscene.

    Accuracy International Target Butt Plate

Correct, because it's welded onto the rear section of the chassis. Technically you could find someone with a similar folding-stock AW, and swap the entire rear section of the chassis, but that would be the only way to do so. EuroOptic lists that as a part likely to differentiate the options...

    TRG-41 Info

I'm torn. It's $2750 out the door, without a box. Supposedly unfired. Including the TRG-41 clamp-on muzzle brake, a very curious older Versapod-style bipod (I suspect it might be this bipod - possibly old factory model...
