    OCW workup 223

Yeah, I'd start at 0.015 or 0.020 off to start and go from there. SMKs usually have no problem jumping a little bit.

    OCW workup 223

And on the Hodgdon site is shows the 77 at 21 gr (min) to 23.7 gr (max). Also, sounds like he's playing with seating depth so very likely they're over 2.260". Sierra's lawyers are very cautious. I personally think that is a good place to start, especially with something like Varget in LC brass.

Awesome, just what I was hoping to hear, thanks.

    224 Valkyrie Craddock precision

Sorry for bumping the old thread, but I'm interested if you or anyone else could fill me in on the gas system on this? Looking at picking up a Craddock barrel in 224, and seeing they offer a +1 and +2 rifle gas system for the 20". Having only ever used mid and rifle length, I'm trying to...

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

Probably could have put this in the reloading section as well, but Sierra just released the new 169 gr SMK. Looks like a much needed update to the 168. 169 G1 BC - 0.527 168 G1 BC - 0.462 175 G1 BC - 0.505...

Optics FOUND - Gen 1 Viper PST 6-24 MIL

Ended up finding one, thanks all. Just wanted to see what was out there for Gen 1 6-24 PSTs. Was planning on throwing my Gen 2 on a new upper but wanted to see if I could cut a little weight with the Gen 1. Hoping for MIL, can be beat up as long as glass is in good shape. Thanks

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

I would assume they've messed with the ogive to milk that BC. Part of the reason I've always heard the 168s and 175s are easy to load for is because of their modest but reliable tanget ogive. Maybe that's bullshit, but I've always heard that. Disclaimer - I'm also a shitty reloader most likely.

    New Sierra 169gr SMK (.30)

Yeah, no longer have a 308 but would have definingly tried these. Highly doubt they'll be as easy to tune as the 168s.

How desperate are you for Large Rifle Primers?

No idea if these are boxer/berdan, or if they're even usable to be honest, but I'm guessing someone here might just be willing to try them at this point. My arms are tired just thinking about all that depriming. If you're one of these desperate people, let us know how it goes...

    Thoughts on Magpul PRS Lite?

Shit, I somehow managed to overlook that. Well that kinda sucks.

    Thoughts on Magpul PRS Lite?

Didn't see any threads on this, sorry if I missed it. What does everyone think of the new PRS Lite just announced? Seems like it has most of the features I liked from the PRS, but a little more streamlined and lighter (18.2 oz vs 27.8 oz for PRS). Also...

    Best long range ar15 caliber

People recommending 6.5 Grendel as a flat shooter? It’s a great LR cartridge for the AR15, but that’s one of the areas it loses easily to the others. For the ranges I’m seeing from OP (400-750) I’d go 6 ARC or 224 Valk shooting something like 75 ELDs instead of the 90-95 SMKs. I’m really hoping...

    Let's discuss 350 Legend

Nice buck! Add a few more for what is apparently an "anemic cartridge". Also using the 165 FTX. Love my 350, and most of the guys I know using the 450 have either picked up one or are taking a hard look at one.

If you're still wanting some 155s let me know. Have a full box of Scenars and maybe 35-40 Horandy 155 BTHPs I won't be using.

    Sierra #7160 .224 60g TMK

Nice groups. Just loaded up some of them for my new 224 Valkyrie upper using CFE223. Hoping for some decent groups with them, not as worried about pushing velocity as anything I can gain over a 223 would be a bonus. Really looking to try the 60 TMK as a coyote bullet. Have heard a few reports...
