    I'm interested...

I like the features, and the much desired lighter weight.
To be honest, I rarely adjust my current PRS's after they are dialed in. So the added, easy adjustability was just added weight.

That said... I don't think I would swap them all out. But I am sure I will buy at least one, just to try it.

Looks like a good competitor to the Luth-AR stocks. Although, it would be nicer if it could use rifle/S2 buffer systems. I'd use this with an A5 buffer system which ends up more costly than an A2 system.

I'm sure it will blow the Luth Ar stocks away. Those things are horrendous, I don't know how they are even still around.
    They cheap and light...

While I like the MBA-1, the PRS is definitely nicer; albeit more limited on cheek riser adjustment. I can live the Luth-AR's short comings since it was ~$100 cheaper. This may change that, especially for a lighter weight rifle.

I am also interested in it. Wonder if the recoil pad is that hard as concrete plastic that was on the PRS Gen 1 and 2.

Ive always wondered why they are so recommended. Theyre so flexy - had one for about week and back it went.

I'll be getting one or more of these. I've always wanted a PRS but the long LOP makes it a no go for me.

I was personally really impressed with the Magpul releases this week; particularly the Rail Grabber and then the PRS Lite.

The cheek weld/cheek piece on the PRS remains atrocious. Both the Luth AR & the LMT DMR stock got that part right. If Magpul would put the same style cheek piece they have on their SL-S & ACS stock...

Finally to be honest. It looks sick and a lot of guys have been asking for this I think. My only gripe but not really a gripe is the min LOP. I get the charging handle conundrum. At some point I think I’ll try it on.

That’s about what I’m running on my chassis so personally I think I could run it buuuuut I’m one click under full pull for the gassers in application. So yes I would, but I think there are others who definitely would. I agree, way way way better than the PRS G3. I couldn’t use it and regretted giving up the G2 for it.

Looks pretty cool, I would check one out. Not much heavier than an ACS

I like my PRS G3 on my Sig 716, but looking at my other rifles, I don't have much use for this. I'm sure it will be a home run though.

Needs a adapter for the SR25 style sling mount instead of hacksawing the factory piece to fit. Besides that it looks like it would be great shooting of a rear bag. Definitely interested.

I've always liked the idea of the PRS, but the cost & weight held me back. This puts it into impulse buy territory, and the weight is much more reasonable. Looks like it could be a very nice upgrade over an A2.

Shit, I somehow managed to overlook that. Well that kinda sucks.

Im a newer guy to the forum, but the PRS and UBR were my favorite stocks from magpul. Im excited to see magpul's promo video basically saying this a "middle of the road" between the popular parts of both of those 2 designs, and cheaper.

UBR specifically because of its reputation for not catching beard hair. I run a CTR now on a rifle Im upgrading (WOA SPR UPPER) because its been good in not pulling my beard hair out..really wanted to love the newer MOE SL, tried it on a buddy's rifle and it took some of me with it.

Was going to order a UBR Gen 2 last night and then saw the promos on this. Now I'll be waiting for this to release instead.

What I really want to know is will it's much shorter butt pad fit on the PRS Gen 3, that seems to be where they are gaining the shorter LOP from.

It's interesting, the PRS Gen 3 is heavy, and it's anything but quick adjust, so this seems to offer almost as much in a lighter package with a shorter LOP. Their min. LOP is still ridiculously long though.

I'm kind of interested in the RRA Marksman stock.

Love the cheek weld of my UBR but hate how it rides the bags. I made a custom bag rider but it's a pain to take on and off for developing loads and 3G matches.
I would be very interested in this.
I don't get why everyone is complaining about the LOP of the PRS. I have the LOP about maxed out. Short people, I tell you........ :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Looking forward to this stock, it’s lighter and cheaper. I don’t make adjustments to my stocks anyway after they are set up so this will be perfect.

Interested. I have a 18" Grendel Middy with a carbine receiver extension that has a Strike Fixed Modular Stock that I've never really been pleased with. A Gen 3 PRS is just too heavy for the build and nothing else has interested me.

Looks like it could be a very nice upgrade over an A2.

Except that it's not designed for A2 receiver extensions sadly. I'd like to see them release an A2 version as well to replace my hodgepodge of Hogue overmolded, Hera, and RRA A2 stocks.

Setting up an 18 mid Grendel and was planning on putting that strike stock on it. What don't you like about yours?

I'm a fixed stock junkie too. Have that same hodgepodge.

It's not a horrible stock, but something about it looks and feels rather cheap to me. I think the spacers are part of the problem. I didn't like the stock butt pad so I installed the available extended pad which is a bit more comfortable. But again, it makes it look even more cheap.

No QD sockets is also a bummer (I use one of these on it but it's not an elegant solution: https://phase5wsi.com/qd-button-hook-adapter.html).

The lack of an available cheek riser solution (at least that I could find) is also a negative for me. I tried a carbine stock riser and it didn't fit in the slots. I also have the available monopod and although the storage solution is novel, I'd rather just have the ability to use an Atlas monopod that folds down with a bottom mounted M-Lok rail. The Strike monopod would be better if it folded somehow.

Im actually hoping to grab one of these for my armalite .308. Been toying around the idea of the regular PRS for a while. I think this lite version would fit the bill a little bit better.

Since it is based on a carbine tube, would it work as a replacement for the standard RPR stock? That cheek riser on the RPR is pretty terrible

Yep, would drop right on after you get the factory contraption off. It’s approximately 764 parts.

Hopefully not following the same schedule as their 223 AICS mags, which were introduced about a year ago and still not released.
Still waiting on those to replace the mags I modified to work in my sons Magpul stocked Ruger.

A5/AR308 buffer tubes can be had for as little as $20 or up to $50ish for the BCM/Vltor ones. Buffers are often in $30-45 range depending upon weight. Add in a $5 spring and you could be into an A5 buffer setup for as little as $60.

Or, you can just use the standard carbine buffer setup.

My bad. I read too fast.
I imagine that an A5 isnt going to be an issue for most shopping for stocks in this price point. VLTOR a5 has been "the online forums answer" to most people's questions regarding buffer tubes, weights, etc. for a while now.

If you have an existing $65 magpul entry level stock and no name buffer kit, then sure, its arguable that costs will go up..but I imagine that most guys in the $100+ buttstock furniture market dont see any issue with buying a more expensive buffer tube to begin with.
