After reading this thread, I feel like I wasted my money on the elite iron bipods I own. Sounds like I should have bought a couple of the magic atlas models.
I thought the idea of the radar was the lack of additional stuff hanging from our added to your firearm. I bought one to use with everything from suppressed 22 up to a 416 with a terminator brake. Reading this makes me wonder how it's going to work...
My sac 223 conversion is by far, my favorite for this rifle. I was testing powder again in mine. It likes lots of varget... Ejection is fine if you have enough velocity on the bolt. I don't think it's really any better or worse than my 6.5x47.
Thanks for the replies. Has anyone successfully launched 400 gr lazers from a 375 CT, at ELR distances with a 9 twist? I'm going to attend the NRA shoot in Aug. I'd like to know if I'll be wasting my time with this bullet and twist rate.
Long story short... I just took delivery of two barrels after a 9 month wait. One in 375 CT and one in 416 Barrett for an HTI. Both were supposed to be 8 twists for shooting Cutting Edge 400 Lazers and 550 Lazers. I have measured the twist rate of barrels. The 416 is correct. The 375 is a 9...
