    I would say the next step is remove the barrel and purchase something at least at the Ballistic Advantage level if not up to a White Oak barrel. You would probably come out ahead by the time you figure you ammo and time on your current barrel

    20 MOA scope mount on an AR?

    I would say always go for a 20 moa mount, no reason not to. And as far as a QD mount, I'd pass and go with a regualr unimount even if the scope might be moved between rifles. Get a good mount, Nightforce, Seekins, Geissele, etc and a good torque wrench. You can move it and have it remounted in...
