    La Cantera mall on the West side is a very upscale outdoor mall. Lots of quality shopping there. Papa Gallo's or Paloma Blanca is the best Mexican IMO.     Howdy, So my buddy just got expert marksman and advanced swimming at USMC boot camp. Is this something special, or just a notation that he isn't a complete novice? He's also staying an extra week at Pendleton for some sort of training. I think it's week 8 or 9 now? Anyway just curious. Thanks. D

    OK so this may be a stupid question... How the hell do I sight in a thermal device? It's got a reticle but I can't see definition on a regular paper target. Hot water bottles? Couldn't find anything on search. Thanks.

    Rifle Scopes Is there an OBJECTIVE rating scale for measuring optics clarity and resolution?

    Good stuff here. I learned the most about optics and optic quality when out in the field and peering through other people's gear. Helps objectivity when you aren't in a store or thinking about price etc. On a side note does anyone need a practically new shakeweight?
