    I would personally prefer it didn’t have tool marks at all. The bolt nose is far different than the face for where I’d rather have them though. I’ve bought more expensive actions with more tooling marks, but I didn’t like that either. I’m more bummed about the super700 incompatibility

    Happens, I have one of these issues with every tikka lol. My first ctr I tightened the mirage band screw like an idiot and bent the rail. Then when trying to remove it I stripped the rail screws and had to send it to my smith. I thought it was a big deal but he got the screw out in like 10...

    Hunting rifle weight

    9.9 ready to rock is a good weight for a hunting rifle. If it was a mountain rifle for super high backcountry I’d say cut a pound off but I hunt commonly with 9.5 pound rifles and have no issues. Balance is more important than total weight in this range imo
