    Update. Took mine out yesterday morning. was running garbage ammo through it but was able to hold about 3/4 moa at 100 yards. And ding steel out to 400. will post photos and more in depth results after I get some match grade ammo loaded

    Hey guys lookiing to switch my 223 ar15 to a 6.5 Grendel. narrowed it down to the ballistic advantage 20" fluted and the Faxon firearms 20" fluted. both are very similar just wondering if you guys have experience with either. thanks

    .243 or 308 for AR10 build?

    I see. So is there a necked down 6.5 Grendel? I'd like to not have to do a ton of work to the brass. This thread has got me thinking about just changing the barrel on my ar15 to 6.5 Grendel and loading it on my progressive with 8208

    Hmm...you guys all make good points and are starting to sway me towards the 308. I also like the fact that I can use cfe223 or 8208 xbr to load for it. Plus I can probably find a decent used rifle similar to what I want for much cheaper then buying a new one. thanks guys
