    The issue is that in order to Cerakote, you have to media-blast, and doing so will remove the protective finish on the carbon wrap, which is more than likely a matte clearcoat. I coat the exposed steel parts only, masking the rest of it off. I think someone mentioned Krylon, that should work...

    The Barrett barrels are extremely good. My 338LM barrel has over 3300 rounds through it now, bore looks like crap and is fire-cracked like crazy, however still prints 1/4 MOA groups. It refuses to die. Don't discount the factory barrels, they're tough as nails and super precise.

    The Lancer AWM 7 (I think that's the designation) are amazing in the LMT and (and KAC from what I've been told) Probably the best mag next to a true KAC or Larue mag at half the price. They're good to go.
