    Anschutz 1727 APR

Pricing I've heard/seen has been: £5100 €6000 $9000 AUD Not sure what pricing in US would be, but if the AT-X chassis is machined in the US chances are this APR modle will be more expensive.

    Anschutz 1727 APR

From what I've seen the magazines and the rifles function flawlessly. I haven't personally run one for thousands of rounds, but the initial signs are promising.

    Anschutz 1727 APR

The balance point on the APR really isn't an issue, especially with the steel forend. I'm not that fussed by AICS magazines, but it is nice that they drop free and the mag release can be done with your trigger finger. I think AICS mag changes can be done quicker than CZ/Tikka ones. The...

    Anschutz 1727 APR

Sounds like the rifles have been available for awhile now, but yes the magazines only came out a few weeks ago. I've seen the rifle for sale in the UK, I think there's some in Australia too. So presumably the magazines are now available (otherwise the rifles wouldn't be for sale).

    Accuracy International AT-XC

I got to play with an AT-XC recently, bolt lift definitely seemed lighter than my AT. The larger bolt knob was noticeable too. Otherwise just felt like an AT-X.

    PRS Talk PRS Bipods

At the IPRF PR22 comp just held, by far the most common bipod was the Ckyepod. Most were using the standard height or a double pull, don't recall seeing any PRS height ones. There were Atlas, Harris, GRND pod, etc as well, but Ckyepod was buy far the most common, and from a variety of...

IPRF 22rf World Championship - Starting Tomorrow

I think factory division is ok, but for centrefire they have way too many. Mil/Leo, limited, sporter, and suppressor divisions are all stupid. At least factory division tries to encourage "innovation" for manufacturers, all the other ones don't. Junior, and ladies both encourage more people to...

IPRF 22rf World Championship - Starting Tomorrow

They make a 15 round mag for the 1761, which I think is going to be the action they push going forward. The 1727 APR uses AICS pattern, which I think they'll do 15 rounders for.

IPRF 22rf World Championship - Starting Tomorrow

Bergara said there was going to be some new rifles announced, but I didn't see anything come out. Not sure I'd want a Bergara though, one of the least reliable factory rifles I've ever seen. It's a bit of a shame the factory class will end up being taken over by the custom factory rifles, but I...

IPRF 22rf World Championship - Starting Tomorrow

There will be another survey showing all the equipment used by competitors, like they did after Italy. But generally yes, outside of factory class almost everyone had a "modern" PRS rifle, a few CZs and Bergaras in a chassis, but a lot of custom rifles too. Factory class had a lot of MPA...

    Anschutz 1727 APR

I watched a few of these new rifle at the IPRF PR22 comp. From what I could tell they all ran flawlessly and are very impressive rifles. The straight pull action meant double taps were extremely fast, and the magazines can be attached together (side by side) so the mag changes are very fast...

IPRF 22rf World Championship - Starting Tomorrow

I believe the whole UK team is shooting Matrix Pro rifles, the Czech team is effectively the Anschutz factory team with the new APR 1727 (an amazing rifle). A bit crazy really, as a standard CZ LRP or MTR isn't really much competition. The 2nd day is about half way through, a very tight race...

Yes, purely for weight. It is a good can though, the best 22 suppressor I have used.

    Anschutz 1727 APR

The balance is good on the steel forend version. The aluminum is quite respectable though, and with weights it'd be perfect.

IPRF 22rf World Championship - Starting Tomorrow

There's been very little advertising or media about the event it would seem, but the 2025 IPRF competition starts tomorrow, held in the UK. There's meant to be a lot of media coming over for it bit so far all I've seen is stuff on Facebook from the GBPRA, IPRF and individuals. Probably some...

    T1x ACE in Hand - Review - Pictures - Info - Thoughts

I went out and bought some Tikka weights today, the store didn't have many but I bought all they had, added about 1.1kg to the rifle and now it's a pretty nice weight and balances well (with bipod and suppressor). Tikka have introduced an external weight now which you can pair with the...

    Anschutz 1727 APR

I got to play with this rifle and the 1761 APR Gen2 (ACC Gen2 chassis). Man it's a sweet rifle, they definitely put a lot of thought into it and took feedback from actual shooters. Pretty much everything you could ever want is adjustable, or there are replacement parts to make it fit like a...
