    T1x ACE in Hand - Review - Pictures - Info - Thoughts

I know this doesn't really prove much, but I was very happy nonetheless. During an extended shooting session, with around 600-700 rounds through the rifle and suppressor since the last cleaning, I shot this 5 shot group at 30m (33yards) off a PRS skills style barricade. Was keen to see how a...

    .21 SHARP, what is it?

If the Gubbernment decides your not allowed use lead ammo then it doesn't really matter what you'd prefer to use. That's the main reason behind the .21 sharps.

I have a 6.5cm barrel for it, but keen to try a match with this shorty barrel and blast through the factory ammo I have.

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

After 5 months of being a safe queen finally shot the AT today. Not nice tiny groups to show off but the rifle is a joy to shoot. The mighty 308 is a little hard to keep on target for spotting impacts/misses, but considering it was was first few boxes of ammo through it, I felt it did alright.

Cheers! That makes more sense, I found the correct one now.

    New Applied Ballistics® Quantum™ APP! - & It's Free!

Why are there so many different PDMs for a single bullet, and how do I know which one to use? 168gr SMK seems to have 5 different options.

    Tikka T1X

I had my T1x ACE torqued at 35inlb and felt I was constantly get a slight horizontal zero shift. Have gone up to 55inlb recently and it seems to be better amd the groups have tightens up a bit. Should probably try going to 65 and see what happens to group sizes.

    Tactical Games Scope

I'd have thought so, I banged mine around a bit and never had it loose zero or broke anything. I think most of the scopes in this price bracket will be more than durable enough.

    Tactical Games Scope

Personal preference with FOV. If all things are equal I prefer wide FOV. I recently switched the scope on my rimfire from a XTR3 to a Delta Stryker despite having a worse FOV because the glass was better. In your shoes I'd try find a used XTR3i in the buy/sell section, the 3-18 seems to be hit...

Do you know of a REALLY low, cantilever mount? (30mm, 0-MOA)

I have one of these and it's a PITA, most of my scopes won't fit as the turret housing will hit the base before the tube sits in the lower ring halves.

    PRS Talk PRS Bipods

Must depend on the matches in your area. I've never used a 6-9 Harris other than shooting off a bench, so the PRS Ckyepod would probably be a bit short for me. The standard Ckyepod on the middle width is slightly shorter than a 9-13 Harris which I find to be about perfect.

    T1x ACE in Hand - Review - Pictures - Info - Thoughts

Eley Match with a barrel tuner added. Probably the lowest ES box I've shot. Same batch with my suppressor, the Garmin dropped one shot.

    T1x ACE in Hand - Review - Pictures - Info - Thoughts

Probably time for another update. Managed to get some Eley Match down in NZ. Tested 3 different batches, one shot horrible (not accurate and terrible ES) but the other two shot great. Seeing around 28-32fps ES over 50-100 shots and accuracy is good. Decided I would try running a suppressor for...

    ELEY BC

I've trued Eley Match out to 250meters in Strelok and ended up with .114 RA4. Matches the PDM in ABQ perfectly

    ELEY BC

I still use Strelok, I like more than ABQ. Probably just used to it so it's easier for me, but I find ABQ has way to much going on and a bit of a pain to use.

    PRS Talk PRS Bipods

Do you not find you need to extend your PRS height Ckyepod out a lot in this case then? Other than for bench use I'd have thought the PRS version was on the shorter side of things.

    PRS Talk PRS Bipods

I think Harris is still my favorite bipod, however I wish the legs were spread a little wider. But a Ckyepod is more versatile. I think the standard height Ckyepod is the best option if you only want one bipod though. I find this to be the perfect height most of the time and wouldn't want any...

Best way to carry a kestrel for prs type competition

What do you do with the string on your Kestrel? I’ve been trying a few different holders/holders and keep find the long ass string on the end is a pain in the ass to stuff into a pouch.

    Extreme Spread

Under 40fps is what I hope for in match ammo. Under 30fps is what I'd expect from very good ammo. Anything starting with a 2 is excellent, but likely to be due to small sample size/luck from a particular box of ammo. I've shot plenty of matches with ammo that's around 50-70fps ES, I'll miss...
