We have spent a ton of time educating our dealers how to spot fakes. I believe you can buy from ANY authorized dealers posted above and get an authentic Atlas bipod. The only thing that will change the course Amazon is on is for the federal government to pass a law holding such marketplaces...- Kasey

The original AI monopod (our part number BT08) was for the AI stock now called "Legacy" stock was a thumbhoile style and they had a hole on the "hook" portion of the stock requiring no modifications. I thought Elite Iron had push button leg positions as well? Elite Iron is really in a class by itself, I don't see it being the go to for PSR. As a side note, We did increase the size of the leg position buttons to .5, makes a crazy amount of difference. Also, we will be introducing some...- Kasey

I could not afford to produce the Atlas, so I spoke to Mr. Harris at SHOT about doing this, he was not interested in the design as in HIS words; "you cannot improve the bipod". The counterfeits / knockoffs have been a huge problem they break like it's thier job and we, the real Atlas gets the credit for failure....
