    I just got a Zeiss 4/50 and it has movement notification capability, and overall was quite impressive while hunting. PM me if you have any questions, I can have them in hand in a few days :)

    Rifle Scopes Kahles or Leupold MK 5HD

    The Kahles glass will beat the MK5 and NF glass. The Zeiss S3 glass will at least keep up with the Kahles. Zeiss S5 glass is up there with ZCO and TT.

    Desert Tech reliability?

    Buddies have had feeding issues, trigger issues, and safety issues. That being said, once resolved I don't think any of them have had issues return apart from the magazine situation which is just a design compromise due to the modularity IMO. Those were early A2s I believe.

    Our FDE is the "magpul" FDE. I'd say it's close but not exact. To get exact we'd likely need a custom cerakote color made. We can compare some swatches and I can put a pic of the magpul FDE up as a comparison.

    They're good scopes. I have sold a pile (for a small shop) of S3s and haven't heard of a single issue. Happy to price you out a scope, or combo with mount/rings/caps, etc.
