    Tikka T1x metal magazine housing

I saw this and it looks interesting but know nothing about the company or the reliability of the mags. https://ndrshootingsupplies.com/15-round-magazine-tikka-t1x-22-lr/

    Vudoo closed the doors…

Somehow a vision of that thing making rooster tails on the Salt Flats has burned into my brain!

    Vudoo closed the doors…

My son once bought an old 8N. I am not sure if he was old enough to realize it was a death trap. I was never so glad to see a piece of his equipment go as that old thing! I had an uncle in Arkansas that had one lay across his chest for several hours. He survived but I always thought that was the...

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

IMO, it isn't always about weight alone for a stock or even for a rifle for that matter. With the stock it's (to me) about the overall shape. If a stock is constantly poking me while slung or unwieldy I wouldn't want it on my shoulder or in my hunting blind all day. The company I worked for...

    DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

I have become a straight-pull fanboy, sporting two Anschutz 1727's along side my Vudoo GenI, but Mike has already ruled out a straight-pull action. We do have US based ammo plants that produce 22LR and (like you describe) they already produce ammo they call "match grade". I don't understand why...

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

Same. I thought at least only in short actions. But that appears to be an actual Remington DBM.

    Bankruptcy R700 woes

There are many "signs" when one thinks they are over pressure and, frankly, none of them are showing up on this brass. As stated the action screws have zer0 to do with pressure. Hard bolt lift, which I think you interpret as over pressure, can be caused by the fact that when you tightened the...

    Vudoo closed the doors…

Honestly no, but I never had any issue with feeding using Vudoo mags at 3/$100. I am too old and broken down for NRL/PRS games and hi-cap 22LR mags are not necessary kit for me. I tried L3i mags in a CZ457 and they were not my thing. Fit was very tight in the bottom metal. Heard and read some...

    Vudoo closed the doors…

Maybe they are talking about screwed up bolts on their Rim-X actions? That seems to be a big topic, even after "the fix". I thought about getting a Rim-X until I started looking at things like the cost of magazines. It's one thing to drop big money on a build but having to pay $125 each for mags...

    Vudoo closed the doors…

Yes it is and we will just have to wait for the production line units to make it to the USA. I didn't wait for it. Just got my 1727 in a red ATX chassis Friday, along with four spare mags. Already have a 1727 GRS Hybrid. Love it except for the barrel channel of the chassis made the barrel look...

    Vudoo closed the doors…

I had no intention of ever being a FB'er but when I worked in the firearms industry most all my dealers used it for promotional announcements. Once I retired and FB clamped down on the gun shops I could have left it but, by then, too many out of town cousins and friends were on there as friends...

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

Two questions. First, I don't see that MDT thumb rest in the pic. Was that installed after this pic or am I blind? Second, where did you get the rear bag rider? I am on the notification list for a Sawtooth but the one you have may work. My rifle shipped today so should have it by Monday afternoon.

    Accessories AI AT-X - Thumb Rest/Shelf

Can you tell me if anyone has put this on a Anschutz 1727 straight pull/AT-X chassis combo and did the bolt handle clear the rest? I was thinking the fangled olding chassis rest may work best in this application but need your feedback. Thanks!

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

My Vudoo hated Polar so much I have yet to try it on anything else. Luckily my Vudoo and 1727 both shoot the tightest and most reliable with a certain speed Lapua Long Range. My Lonestar/Shilen Ratchet combo with a PQP tuner isn't happy with anything but Midas+ and only one speed lot of that...

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

Is that a 50 or 56mm objective scope and what ring height did you need? I'll probably put anArken 5-25x56 mrad I have on hand on mine.

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

For sure. I picked up the Savage mag for under $20 but $85 for the Annie mag. when you look at the two bodys they do seem very close but IIRC, it took a lot of careful filing and fitting to get the Savage mag to fit.

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

I found something on that on YT as well but it looked to be such a PITA I didn't try it.

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

Savage 99 or CZ spring and follower? The followers have to be trimmed. There is a YT on it that shows how but I didn't find it very helpful. The Anschutz magazine has an indention on either side at the top rear. you will need to trim the follower so it can come all the way up on the mag body...

    Anschutz 1727 magazine basepads

I ordered two more extensions last night and happened to see the same seller has safety mags with flags so I ordered a couple of them as well. Then, of course, I ordered two Savage 99 mags to rob springs and followers from. The good times never end (until the credit limit is met)
