    Here is a tip, don't buy primers in 1k lots. Buy in 5k or a case at a time. 250 is usually more readily available. But in general, playing around with different primers have not resulted in much of a difference in the loads.

    I use CCI 250 almost exclusively on my 338LM, 300NM and 300WM and load work up with N570 right at 5SD, 10-11ES and have a friend that uses the 215s on his 300WM and 300PRC and get about the same results with N570. You would be fine with either.

    I had the same exact issue with my 300NM barrel. Freebore was cut too short. I had extended and it solved all the pressure issues.

    I have a MKII and you can do the auto anneal with a fee software update from AMP. They include the cable for this very reason.

    I was thinking more in the lines of QC issues, or using bad/wrong reamers. I probably will not get another prefit from them and just have one custom in the future.
