Cutting carbon fiber (Clark Custom Handguard)?

Re: Cutting carbon fiber (Clark Custom Handguard)? It's going to depend on how the fiber layout is. It could end up splintering if cut wrong. Try a Dremel with a thin blade cut off tool. Wear a good dust mask, gloves and defiantly outside. That's some nasty dust. It cyts easy, just abrasive.

Re: 700 LTR with Seekins DBM & Alpha mags won't feed Is this a duplicate post? Seems like i responded already...its been a long few days. We test with genuine stamped AI mags. If installed properly we have never had an AI not work. The AI mags even allow a bit more wiggle room for the...

Gunsmithing Scope rings cross bolt - your opinions, please...

Re: Scope rings cross bolt - your opinions, please... I go off of what the machinists handbook says and i don't have it with me right now. Nuts, bolts are completely different than socket head screws like i am used to using. I do not think that 65inlbs would be far out of line if it was...

Gunsmithing Scope rings cross bolt - your opinions, please...

Re: Scope rings cross bolt - your opinions, please... well thank you Suggested torque is 50-55 on the clamps, and that would be dry. Caps 15-25 (or use your scope MFG's spec if its different) We have never used loctite on our screws, but if you must apply it around the head of the...

Gunsmithing Who will cut a melonite barrel?

Re: Who will cut a melonite barrel? I would get a 16" barrel and when your stamp shows get another barrel. Otherwise your going to be fighting it. Gas port and length of barrel is very important for the blackouts. As in a 14" barrel and carbine length doesn't like to run. If you get a pistol...

What makes a gas gun accurate?

Re: What makes a gas gun accurate? Actually the rigidity, straightness and fit of the barrel into the upper also matters. Lots of potentialy good shooting ar's won't because of how the barrel nut is installed or how it fits. Just like a bolt rifle consentricity and perfection help. otherwise...
